Restless Room is an ongoing zine project exploring childhood fears,
based on survey responses, designed for parent-child discussions.
" When I was younger, my bedroom door couldn’t be closed due to issues with the locker. As a result, I experienced the same nightmare over and over again about a door left with a gap, through which monsters could always find me.
I never knew how to talk to my parents about this."
I hope that by sharing my story, other kids will feel brave enough to talk about their fears, too.
These zines is all about fear, based on 214 surveys I received from my online post. I selected the most common things people were scared of to create zines. It's for kids and parents to read together so we can all discuss what scares us.
